Rock on
I picked up the sheet rock and switches so that I can get closer to completion. I will have a 4 day weekend this week so I hope to get all of the taping and texturing done. We have family coming over so we'll see... With the rock on, the stairway transition looks better. There will still be some tricky trim work and I have to find away to match the old bathroom ceiling to the stair ceiling, they differ by an inch and I am not sure how to do it yet. The lovely carpet you see is available for adoption if anyone is interested. Comes with a 10-10 guarantee... ten minutes or ten feet from the door. How about this, I will guarantee it will look just as crapy in your house as it does in mine, how can you say no?

Uhhhh...no thanks on the carpet. ^_^ We have our own crappy carpet. Which actually looks nice, I think, but will probably be worn out in a year's time. It's the cheapest non-industrial-grade carpet you can get. Yay!
Anyway, your kids had better appreciate the annual blacksmithing class, and I'm sorry about your saw blade. Oh well...You can just put it out of your mind, and I hope your tax return comes soon. ;)
AND the fact that we still have to rip out our walls and redo everything is why we haven't gotten a dog yet. *grin*
I hope your family likes the changes you have wrought!
