Water the dog.
Cleaning a paint brush with a curious puppy is fun. Must be the lab in her, she loves the water. Hasn’t mastered the skill quite yet, keeps trying to bite the water. Not particularly efficient.

As promised, more log shots. Needed some trimming to fit through the saw. Puts the log out over 28”. The cedar will be for a memorial bench for uncle Mark. I have hauled home several hundred board feet of spalted Alder we cut early last year. Plan to sell some and use some but don’t have a project in mind yet.

Because I have been out of town little has happened on the house. We did buy light fixtures for the hall and get them installed. We love how the subtle swirl in the globe accents how cheep they were. When the lady asked what theme we planed to illuminate our home with I said ‘poor’. She wasn’t nearly as amused as I was.
